Deck Paint
Deck finishes are typically a molded-in pattern of Gelcoat from the factory. Over time the Gelcoat will fade, chip, and wear and tear will degrade its finish. Other decks are finished with a non-skid media suspended in the finish coating. Refinishing your deck typically requires removing the existing pattern or texture and painting with an alternative nonskid product. Painting new nonskid can be achieved by either rolling or spraying with a variety of textures available. For deck repair, matching patterned damaged Gelcoat nonskid may be possible, depending on the age, pattern availability, and location. Coarse to fine nonskid paint options are available.
