Meet Blake Phillips

I got into the boat business for 1 reason – I truly believe that recreational boating improves the quality of life.

Growing up in Massachusetts, I spent every weekend aboard my family’s boat between Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and Newport.

After graduating from Boston’s Suffolk University in 2008, I joined White River Marine Group where I spent the following 9 years.  From 2012-2017 I was General Manager of a Boating Center in Foxborough Massachusetts while also helping to open new Boating Centers on the East Coast, developing national marketing strategies, and participating in the development of new boat models for both Mako & Nitro Boats.

In April of 2017 I joined MarineMax where I spent the next 5 years with 2 as Sales Director of 4 locations, and the following 3 as General Manager of 3 locations – Boston, Newport & Wakefield RI.  My combined stores represented New England’s largest dealer body with a Sales Department that carried 10 premium boat and yacht brands, ranking in as the ‘Number One Volume Boston Whaler Dealer in the World’, and consistently placing in the ‘Top 5 Azimut Yachts Dealers in the U.S’.

In October of 2022, I joined Off The Hook Yachts as Chief Operating Officer to focus on the growth of our consumer base, our supplier network, our team, our stores, and our processes.
